Doris, I am so lucky to have been able to meet you and your darling Stephen. I will treasure our times spent together. I loved Getting to know Stephen and listening to him talk about his life and art.

Seeing the 2 of you together was inspiring and to see the love and bond that you both shared after all your years together is amazing.

As I read my dad's story of how you first met, the adventures you shared and the times you spent together I am truly humbled. Life is not just about what you have, but the people you surround yourself with.

You were a kind and thoughtful man who had the courage to share his gifts with the community. It's because of this, you have left a lasting impression on so many.

Our families were asked to gather some photos of our times on Christmas Island. Your passing though extremely sad, reminded me to take a moment to remember what's most important. The memories....the people...the best of times....

Goodbye uncle Stephen, you will be missed.
