As I read my dad's story of how you first met, the adventures you shared and the times you spent together I am truly humbled. Life is not just about what you have, but the people you surround yourself with. You were a kind and thoughtful man who had the courage to share his gifts with the community. It's because of this, you have left a lasting impression on so many. Our families were asked to gather some photos of our times on Christmas Island. Your passing though extremely sad, reminded me to take a moment to remember what's most important. The memories....the people...the best of times.... Goodbye uncle Stephen, you will be missed.

To my very special friend and your amazing children. Please know that Mick and I are thinking of you all today and sending you all big hugs and all our love. Doris, I am so lucky to have been able to meet you and your darling Stephen. I will treasure our times spent together. I loved Getting to know Stephen and listening to him talk about his life and art. Seeing the 2 of you together was inspiring and to see the love and bond that you both shared after all your years together is amazing. Please know that Mick and I will always be here for you Doris. Take care my Thurdoo. Love always your Pilbara sister, Tracey
