In Loving Memory of Scott

We are so grateful for the many years of friendship we shared with Scott — filled with unforgettable memories, loads of laughs and facing some of our life’s challenges and joys together. Scott’s humour and sharp wit were a constant and made us all laugh.
His friendship and support were gifts we knew we could always count on. We will miss him deeply, but we carry with us the comfort of having known someone so special.
Our love and thoughts are with you, Mel and the boys. Scott loved you all endlessly, and that love was evident in everything he did.

Robert Gunn on 14 April, 2025 at 1:12pm (AWST)

My sincerest condolences to Melissa and boys.
Although I hadn’t known Scott for very long, he made a lasting impact on me. From the first day we met, his incredible sense of humour and positivity stood out. Scott, you truly were an inspiration. I often thought you would’ve made an amazing motivational speaker.
I will truly miss our monthly catch ups and laughter we shared. I feel so fortunate to have known you, even for a short time.
Rest easy Scott. I know you’ll always be watching over Mel and the boys.

How do you capture 37 years of friendship, you call it Scott!!
Thank you for being one of Craig’s best Mates & our Best Man!
Loved that quick witted humor and that bloody ‘forever young’ look!
Our thoughts are also with Donna, the last one standing 🥰
We will be here for Mel & the Lads!
We truly loved you!!

Scottie dog, I love you so much. You will always be another dad to me and I will be forever grateful for the memories, love, laughter and guidance you shared. You lit up every room you went into and your love and laughter will never be forgotten. I will be forever grateful for the camping trips and times we spent together. We will always love and miss you but we know you’re up there laughing with us and cheering for the hawks. Words cannot describe the heartbreak, see you again soon 🤍

Mel, Cody, Jack and Ryan I love you all so much and we will continue to love Scottie and live up to his legacy everyday 🩵

Kerry Ormerod on 13 April, 2025 at 12:13pm (AWST)

Am absolutely devastated for you Mel, Codstar, Jacky and Rhino.
Our camping trips are not going to be the same without you Scottie Dog. But we’ll continue the tradition with Mel and the boys looking for somewhere new. Miss you sarcasm and cheeky comments towards Mel and I and the fun and laughter we all shared.
We’ll make sure to support Mel and the boys through this difficult time and forever.
Miss you Scottie.
Just a memory of Margaret River when we were able to get you onto the beach ( much to your disgust at first) to join in all the fun and laughter with us all.

Love Mikey, Kerry, Izaak, Caleigh, Jaydos and Kye xxx

Mel, Cody, Jack and Ryan,
We are so sorry for your loss.

I was always so grateful for Scott allowing Cody to play for my team and then Jack.
He was always so supportive of you all .

I know he will be greatly missed by so many people that knew him. But mostly by you all.
Sending love to you all from the Belchers

My husband is my best friend, my greatest support, my biggest comfort, my strongest motivation, my truest smile, my deepest love, my favorite, my forever. He has me, entirely.
Sadly my soul mate of over 25 years Scottie has passed away. There will be so many broken hearts 💔😭 but knowing that all of the pain he suffered is now gone. He passed away peacefully and pain free with family around which is what he would have wanted. We will always love and miss you forever in our hearts ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️

My dad, Scott, was more than just a father—he was my best friend, my role model, and the greatest man I’ve ever known. I loved him deeply and miss him every single day. There isn’t a moment that goes by where I don’t think about him and wish I could hear his voice or see his smile just one more time. He was the best dad anyone could ever ask for, always showing love, strength, and unwavering support to me and my brothers. Whether it was through laughter, advice, or just being there when we needed him, he filled our lives with unforgettable memories. I will forever be thankful for the time we had together and everything he taught us. He may be gone, but his love, wisdom, and spirit will stay with us always. Thank you, Dad, for everything—you will be forever missed and forever loved.

Love JD

It truly saddens me to know that I’ll no longer get to belly laugh at your jokes. You really did bring a light to everyone’s life. Thank you for the beautiful life long friendship you shared with my parents Deanne and Craig, you will be sorely missed within the Stidworthy household. However your memory will live on through all the stories we have to tell. Rest easy Scotty 🩷

Dear Mellie, Cody, Jack and Ryan, I can’t find the words to express my sympathy, but I’ll always be here for you all 💞
Scottie, your presence is missed…your memory treasured. You were always full of life, and fiercely independent. Your spirit lives within me, and I’ll cherish our time spent together.
I’m not saying goodbye forever…but goodbye for now.
Rest in peace, my wonderful Son-in-law 💞

Scott my first boss, I harassed you every week until you gave me a job and when you finally employed me, I never looked back. For ten years you mentored me and always pushed me to achieve more, for that I can't thankyou enough for all your support. You were always tough but fair, kind but sympathetic but never did you let anything get you down. Your resilience was remarkable, you had the ability to grow from the difficult times and you installed that in me very quickly. My Rockingham Visitor Centre days were some of the best and you can hold your head high for that. To Mel and the Boys, the world has lost a good man, but you should be so proud of the legacy Scott has left behind, he was a legend in his own right. Rest easy mate xxx
