A year ago on the 11 October, the worst day of my life happened when I lost Rod.
He was by my side for 44 years, doing so much for me. I didn't know if I could have the will to carry on alone. It's unbearable without him.
Every day I listen and sing to his music. I feel it connects me to him, some days it helps other days I cry a lot.

My dear Rodney,
I still can’t believe you are gone, it’s like a bad dream. It happened so fast when I didn’t know you were even dealing with an illness.
I wish I had known sooner so that maybe I could have spent more time with you and your family when we came in 2022.
You are back with Mum and Dad and Lyn. I hope you are all having fun up there.
We will all be together again one day.
