Sincere sympathy to all of Pats family and close friends. Pat was a stunning Manageress of Wellington Netball tournament team for many years. I was lucky enough to be in those teams during the 70's. Pat had high expectations of her girls and set clear boundaries. Her great humor, very caring manner and wonderful organization skills kept everyone united and focused on the end goal. Sadly missed having gifted an amazing legacy for all layers of the Netball world.

I have very fond memories of Pat in the 60's while the family were living in Levin, and spending time with them as Lyn's friend. She was such a kind and caring lady and it was lovely to meet up with her again a few years ago in Perth. I remember the huge contribution she made to Horowhenua and national netball. She will be sorely missed

Sending our very special farewell to our very special Life long friend - Patricia Cleland - much loved and our special family friend over our many years shared. We certainly have wonderful memories shared over a very long lifetime and send our condolences to such a great group of people shared as family & friends of Patricia Cleland. We have certainly shared a very long lifetime involved on many occasions that gives us wonderful memories to treasure at this sad time as we say our farewells to our very lovely Patricia Cleland. These last years we have remained in New Zealand and utilised the telephone/computer skills to keep in touch & involved over these later years. Was difficult to be closer due to the distance to travel these past later years so utilised the computer plus telephone to keep in contact. We also were lovers of the game of Netball so also made good use of that area when possible to follow & enjoy. Now in our late 90 years also limited the travel greatly so lucky to have the computers & telephone connections available to us also. Pat certainly did have a great life shared & enjoyed things right up to these later years to keep in contact. We so loved our chats & catch ups and certainly did enjoy manytimes shared.
