Dearest Aunty Christina & my long “lost” Aussie Cousins
I wish I had words to lighten your agony but sometimes words are just not enough when it comes to a loss of a loved one. When we grieve, angles are always near us to whisper that our loved ones are safely in the hands of God. For those we love don’t just go away, although they are not physically with us but walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, so loved, so missed and so very dear.
Uncle Tony (as we fondly called him) was a very significant figure in my childhood. He was a kid’s regular “Santa Claus” because whenever he came he would bring such a big bang full of “overseas goodies” for me and my friends. Everyone loved Uncle Tony even us kids. There was always something interesting or another when we were in his company. Although I never could understand why he lost touch with us after the wedding (most probably some silly at that time grownup stuff) but he was always was “with us” all tucked away safely in our hearts and memories. Over the years I’ve thought of him from time to time (reminiscing my childhood days), how he was doing and would someday like to visit him but I guess that day never came. Nevertheless, my dear and most favourite uncle of all, Rest Well and if you’re looking down on us…. know that you’re so loved by all the people you’ve touched and left your footprints in their lives on along your life’s “adventures” here on earth.
Life is the Greatest Gift that God has given us. Death is only a Bridge towards Eternal Life with God. Surely Heaven is rejoicing for another beautiful soul has finally reached his True Home…
Please except our deepest and most heartfelt Condolences to you and all your family members. Until we meet again….. May God’s Blessings be upon you, keep you safe and comfort you in times of need.
Love Always: Sharon Laxman (Josephine Danker’s Daughter)
P/S:
Please accept our heartfelt apologies for not informing my mum of his passing. She has a bad heart condition and was just recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer which resulted in her having to undergo a mastectomy. She’s now recovering by the grace of God and is a little “fragile” at this moment if you know what I mean. Thank you & God Bless
