Joe, Sundays will never be the same without you, especially for your bestie Frank. The two of you had your routine down to the seconds…..9.45am Franks got the cups oot and coffee in. Don’t worry, we won’t tell June that Frank slipped in 2 sugars, even when you weren’t allowed. 9.50am Franks got the front doors open and kettle on. 9.55am in walks Joe, HELLO HELLO, he shouts, god help us if anyone in the hoose was still sleeping….not anymore, Joe had arrived! We wouldn’t have changed it for the world. It has been you and Frank’s routine ever since we arrived in Oz all they years ago. We’ll never forget you or the way you cared for us like we were your own x Sadly missed, but never ever forgotten. Take it easy up there our friend x

Having the opportunity to have Joe as a mentor, work colleague and friend has been an absolute pleasure.
We have shared many great times over the years.
His personality and the love of banter brought smiles and laughter.
Our coffees and morning beach walks in your visits, will always be remembered.
Rest easy Wee Man.

Dear Daddybear
I can’t believe the day has come that we have to say goodbye,
I wish you were still here with us, demanding another steak pie.
You were always there for me, on you I could depend
No one could ever hurt me, with you there to defend.
You loved your walks around the streets, making friends everywhere you went
And when it came to money, well, you saved up every Scottish cent!
Until you became a Granda and started doling out the pocket money,
And then you also spoiled that wee dug, that wee dug that you called Honey.
I will remember all the good times that we spent together in Bali,
I will remember how you used to wind me up and make me go DooWally.
I will remember the Bendy Santa that I got you for a Christmas present
Even though you all made fun of me so much it was incessant.
I will never forget the love that you and Mummybear shared so deeply
Or the Strawberry Freddos you always bought her, but only when out cheaply!
At my wedding, I loved that fact you were with me on the aisle, as we walked down
But even more, I loved the fact that you wore shoes fit for a clown
Now it is time for you to rest, be at peace in Heaven.
I’m sure you’ll keep watch over us, that’s why we call you Bevan.
My boys and I adore you more that you will ever ever know
You were the best Granda, Dad, Husband and friend, not to mention the best Joe.

We are sorry for your loss. Joe was a good friend and work colleague. He was a very proud man and it was a privilege to have known and worked with him.
I also know how much he loved his family and how proud he was of them all.
Joe had a good influence and helped a lot of workmates over the years
and will be missed by more people than you would imagine.
He will always live on in our hearts 💕
