John, I feel truly blessed and forever grateful that you welcomed me into your family and trusted me to love your daughter as my wife. You showed me what it means to be a man—living with pure love and unwavering dedication to Pauline and your daughters, Jo and Stacey.
I promise to protect and cherish this family, just as you did until your very last breath.
Rest peacefully, my second dad and dear friend. Know that everyone who had the privilege of meeting you is better for it, and your love will live on in all of us.
Love always,
Lee

I miss you so much and thank you for being my Grandad. You were the kindest and most caring person who would do anything to help anyone. Thank you for teaching me what a throttle is when I learnt to drive manual and watch me do cartwheels on the trampoline over and over again.
Rest peacefully now and I will see you again soon. I love you forever and always.
