What a glowing witness for Christ in whose company Jessica now enjoys. I dont know Jessica and Judah but Marcel Lee, a friend showed me a photo of Jessica in her hospital bed over dinner at an Italian cafe during the past weekend. A beaming smile, radiant countenance and the unmistakable glow of the Holy Spirit through her had fascinated me as I studied her photo. But my reality was about to take a sudden morbid twist. 'She has passed on,' Marcel uttered the solemn words. No words can describe the loss of a life, so beautiful, so young and so radiant in Christ. Our Heavenly Father knows best and Jessica now rests in his bosom. May God comfort Judah and those whose unbearable pain only he can be the balm. Steve Oh

Yow & Sally Choong on 17 May, 2025 at 12:05pm (AWST)

Eventhough we have only gotten to know you over a few occasions, during retreat and while serving together, both Sally and I were touched by your great love, joy, heart for others, and your sweet gentle spirit, which is the embodiment and out-pouring of the Father’s love in you. The many lives you have touched are a testimony of this love you have, Jess.

We are deeply saddened that you are no longer with us, but yet are joyful that you are in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus for eternity.

Our hearts go out to you, Judah and Joash, during this difficult time and pray that the love, peace and assurance of our Lord will comfort and strengthen you. Do take comfort that the day will come when you will both be reunited in God’s presence.

Much love in Christ,
Yow & Sally

We are truly saddened with the loss of sis Jessica. We are sure she is now in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. She left such a big hole in other people’s lives as we are missing the joy and kindness that she always brings to others.
We pray that that you and Joash be strengthened and comforted by the Holy Spirit. It is when the dearest person taken away that the loss is greater. We are here for you both.
She will be missed.

Jess, though we met only briefly, the impression you left was deep. You were witty, full of light, and had such a way with words—your infectious warmth put everyone at ease instantly. That’s why the news of your passing hit so hard.

Jess, may you fly high now, wander pain-free, and watch over your loved ones as the guardian angel I know you’ll be. And to those who miss you most: smile, because she happened ♡

It's this time of year again—who could have known that a simple turn would become a final farewell? I so wish time could have frozen at the playground in Apple Cross or during our camping at the Fontys pool, where we could still chat happily together. You will surely continue to shine in heaven, sharing your brightest smile with everyone around you.
Thank you for the warmth and strength you shared with us. [Heart]

I am truly saddened by the passing of Jessica. May the memories of her comfort you during this difficult time.

Lucielle Hong on 15 May, 2025 at 11:15am (AWST)

I was truly shocked to hear of your passing. It’s hard to find the right words when someone leaves so suddenly, even more so when you didn’t expect the goodbye to come so soon.

Though we haven't caught up the past few years, your presence in my life left a positive mark. I remember your warmth, your smile, the way you carried yourself with quiet strength and kindness. You touched more lives than you probably realized — including mine.

It’s painful to know you're gone, and I feel a deep sadness thinking about all the moments you’ll no longer be part of. You will be missed dearly by many, and remembered for the light you brought into the world in your own way.

Rest peacefully. You mattered more than you knew.

Wei Wei on 15 May, 2025 at 10:00am (AWST)

Your smile, your kindness will always stay in our heart. It brings peace to my heart knowing you are now in a place with no more pain, only joy and glory in the presence of the Lord.

Dearest Jess,
You are missed dearly.
May was always our month to celebrate you, and though this May is different, I still feel your presence in every memory, every laugh, and every moment we shared.

Your laughter was magical; Your kindness was a reflection of Christ’s love, touching everyone around you. Your creativity, your art, your craft, your music—each piece a testament to the beauty you saw in the world and the beauty you carried within.

My heart aches to say "see you again," but as followers of our Lord Jesus, we hold tightly to His promise—that one day, we will hear His sweet voice say, "Welcome home." And in that home, there is no pain, no tears, no suffering—only the eternal embrace of His love.

I find comfort knowing you are now cradled in the arms of our Lord Savior, wrapped in perfect peace. Until we meet again in glory, I will carry you in my heart, celebrating the love, the light, and the faith you left behind.

Rest in His love, my beautiful sister. I miss you dearly, but I rejoice knowing you are finally home.

Until we meet again,
With all my love,

Jess,

You had fought the good fight, you had finished the race, you had kept the faith.

So comforted that you are in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, our Lord & Savior Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

When I first helped out at church, I will never forget how you were so patient with me, teaching me what to do. I enjoyed the times we spent together. I have and always will treasure the scarf you gave me before I left for NZ. I will miss your beautiful smile and infectious laugh. You are a beautiful woman of God. You will be deeply missed.

We know this is not a good bye but see you again Jessica.
We will remember & treasure all the beautiful memories we have shared. Here is one of the last few songs we sang & worshipped together..
Jesus , lover of my soul
Jesus, I will never let you go
You've taken me from a miry clay
You set my feet upon the rock, now I know
I love You, I need You
Though my world may fall, I'll never let you go
My Saviour, my closest friend
I will worship you until the very end....

Rest in peace in God's holy presence.

Dearest Jessica,

Remembering that this parting is only temporal, we mourn briefly but shall rejoice together forevermore.
Because He lives, we are convinced that we shall meet again.

John 11:25 -  Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die..

Steven & Lynn Ngoo on 14 May, 2025 at 9:36pm (AWST)

“Well done, my faithful and beautiful daughter. Welcome home ❤️“ this will be the greeting that Jessica received when she is welcomed by Jesus on her first day in heaven . I can imagine her laughter will be the same in heaven , still loud and full of joy and she will be surrounded by lovely brothers and sisters.
Jessica , You will be missed but we will meet again.❤️❤️

Remember, Judah & Joash? This song we all sang together on the beautiful afternoon of 6th April. Jess told us she was listening and learning this song. She has now entered into the fullness of God's love and singing with the angelic worship team. Be comforted in the Love of Christ.

Love Of God
It's so good I almost can't believe it
Far beyond what hearts could ever dream
The God who set the galaxies in motion
Would descend to give His life for me
For what could make perfection bleed for sinners
What leads a King to pay so great a cost
All my life, my heart will sing the answer
Only the love of God

Singing oh, how great is the love of God
He paid our debt on that rugged cross
For all our days, we will sing our Savior's praise
How great is the love of God

It's so kind, it leads us to repentance
And it's so bright, the darkness has to flee
Hallelujah, it cleared my guilty sentence
For I was bound but now I stand redeemed
For what could break the chains of any prison?
What force could rob the power from the grave?
What would trade my rags for heaven's riches?
Only the love of God

Singing oh, how great is the love of God
He paid our debt on that rugged cross
For all our days, we will sing our Savior's praise
How great is the love of God

Though I try, my mind can't comprehend it
It's so high, too marvelous for words
I could sing a million songs about it
And barely scratch the surface of Your worth
This all my life, the banner I'll be waving
My anthem cry no matter what may come
And when I rise to walk the streets of heaven
I'll still be singing this song (oh, my song)
For everything that You've done
How great the love of God

Your smile could be seen from across the other side, a giggle so infectious we couldn’t help but giggle with you. You would light up the room no matter where you go. You would turn all our photos into memories that last a lifetime and will cherish each collage you so carefully crafted with love. We will miss your quirky spirit, zest for life and messages showered with emojis.

Judah and Joash, thanks for sharing beautiful Jess with us and for allowing her to be a part of our work family. Not a day goes by where we think or talk of her and look forward to continue her legacy with the team. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you as you navigate the next stage of your journey together.

The memory of sis Jessica within our big family often continues to live in our hearts and minds. Her beautiful smile always warm our heart. Her kind and gentle speaking can make the day so cheerful. We thank the Lord had sent such special loving person in our lives.
We are sure now sis Jessica you now are with Christ the Lord in paradise, as the word said:
“We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” – 2 Corinthians 5:8

Rest in Peace dear Jessica Chia 💕

To dear brother Judah and Joash, May the Holy one keeps you close to Him, PSALM 23:4
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Because Christ lives, we can face tomorrow 🙏

Our guinea pigs brought us together - You strike me as a lovely, heartwarming lady who always smiles, staying positive and treats others with sincerity and kindness. You have been my inspiration, and I have always enjoyed our times spent together. We are truly touched, and really love this photo frame you made for us before leaving for Perth. We have and will treasure it always. You will be dearly missed.

Marie Ong on 14 May, 2025 at 2:27pm (AWST)

To Jessica,

You brought so much light into our world. Your bright eyes, your wide smile, the way you welcomed every creature—big and small—made life richer, warmer, and more beautiful. I will miss our pet pawties, your inspiring art projects, and the gentle way you made everyone feel at home. Thank you for every laugh, every thoughtful word, every moment of sunshine you shared. You will be dearly missed, and your memory will forever be a treasure in my heart.

Hey Judah and Joash,

Though miles stretch between Perth and Singapore, my heart is right there with you both. I’ve been holding you close in my thoughts ever since I heard of Jessica’s passing. She was that rare soul whose bright eyes and wide smile could light up any space—whether we were swapping stories on the forum or celebrating pet birthday pawties at your home, where she’d fuss over my pets as if they were her own. I still remember the cakes and treats that Jessica made for all of them, which they truly loved and enjoyed.

Jessica filled every room with sunshine and laughter. Her creativity and artistic spirit left a touch of beauty wherever she went. She was endlessly considerate, always ready with a kind word, a comforting hug, or a moment of genuine listening. I could see her love for you both—Judah, with your gentle heart, and Joash, with your curious mind—in every story she told and every photo she shared. Even when life’s storms hit, she stood strong, her optimism a beacon to everyone around her.

I feel incredibly grateful to have called Jessica a friend. I wish we’d had more time for art projects, more pet pawties, more of those everyday moments that now feel so precious. Yet I carry with me the warmth of her welcome, the sparkle in her eyes, and the memory of her laughter—little gifts that bridge the distance between us.

Please know that, even from Singapore, I’m here for you in every way I can be. If you need someone to talk to during those quiet evenings, help arranging something small, or simply a listening ear across the time zones, I’m only a call away.

May you find comfort in one another’s arms, in the love Jessica wove through your lives, and in the bright legacy she leaves behind. Her spirit shines on in every act of kindness and every burst of creativity she inspired.

With all my love and deepest sympathy. 💐

We saw how Jessica, so bravely, weathered with both of you alongside.
Judah and Joash, we thank you for sharing her with us - the pain, the joy and cheer she brought to us and to many. She will be sorely missed.
