We had the same sense of humor, and I looked forward to having a mum to chat to everyday. My hart breek vir julle as ek dink aan die groot verlies wat julle ervaar het. Al het ek nie die voorreg gehad om Hanny goed te leer ken nie, weet ek dat sy ’n ongelooflike invloed op julle lewens gehad het. Dit raak my diep om te hoor dat sy aan die siekte oorlede is – iets wat ek persoonlik verstaan ná my ma se stryd daarmee.

Ek wens ek kon daar wees om op een of ander manier te help of julle by te staan, maar weet asseblief dat julle in my gedagtes en gebede is. Mag julle troos vind in die mooi herinneringe wat julle saam met Hanny gedeel het en die liefde wat julle as gesin het.
