Brenda, you are never far from my thoughts! Sometimes, a random memory will pop to my head and I either cry or smile. I miss you more than I can express here.

I think of you so often, Brenda. Often when I'm in nature, or going for a walk. I think of our conversations and your beautiful presence. Your optimism, kindness, gentle nature and compassion continue to inspire me to be better. Sometimes I come across pictures of you and they make me smile and feel the warmth you always made me feel in person. Your energy (and your smile) was beautiful.

I don't know what happens after we pass, but I know that if you can see your family you must be so proud of them. Your children are growing into beautiful humans, and Greg has met all the challenges he has face with what appears to be a strength and quiet, gentle resolve that I know you knew he had in him.

I’m sure I am not alone in remembering Brenda as a gentle-natured, fun-loving individual, who was full of positivity and a kind heart.

Dear Greg & Family,
Today's Celebration of Brenda's life was beautiful and moving. The tributes really showcased her loving and loveable character, and what a wonderful and lasting impact Brenda has made on the lives of all those around her and everyone she knew. The words from Ryan and Elise were particularly touching, and we could see, through your words, how much you loved her and how through recalling your first meeting, your wedding and some choice moments shared together, Brenda is giving you comfort and strength, even now.
We were very grateful to be able to join you online from Portugal and be with you and your family in spirit, despite the distance. There was a wonderful feeling of community and support that came through to us watching from the outside and we are gladdened that you, your children, Brenda’s mom and dad, brother, sister and your own dad are part of a loving and caring community, including some great friends, who will provide comfort and strength to you all.
We send you heartfelt condolences from both of us as well as from our family; Beverly & Liz (in Canada), Alex & Dave (in South Africa), and we are here to support you now and whenever you need us.

It was so good to be part of the bitter sweet farewell for your beloved Brenda. It was very moving. We have fond memories of you and are so sad for the loss you and your beautiful children are experiencing. . Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may the certainty of God's love for you, Ryan and Elise be a comfort in the coming days. With love from us both.

We were so lucky to meet Brenda in the UK. We were living near Oxford, and Greg (a friend from Cape Town days) and Brenda came out from London to visit us. My wife was heavily pregnant with our son, Alex.

I remember Brenda as such a gentle and happy person. Our heartfelt condolences to Greg, Ryan and Elise on their loss. Our thoughts are with you...

Brenda, you were gracious, courageous, kind and inclusive, and watching the tributes flow as you grew your angel wings illustrates that this was obvious to all who had the pleasure of knowing you. Sending so much love to the family as we remain locked out of WA. Forever in our hearts.
