You gave me life and so much all throughout my life thus far. We could chat for hours and I remember your smile and how you lit up. Also, your laugh as you had a good sense of humour.
I will miss our chats, talking about anything and everything. You were there for me through thick and thin, and we supported one another. I still find it hard to believe that you're not here.
You were such a genuine, kind soul with warmth, and were selfless and thoughtful. You always did so much for others and were so considerate and invested in helping people and animals.
Rest in peace knowing you had such an impact; your genuineness and love for animals, and your natural nurturing of animals, plants and my brother and I will never be forgotten.
I love and miss you; you're forever in my thoughts. Xoxox

Anthony and I have been reminiscing about his Mum and his school days in Victoria and some of which he couldn't recall. There always seemed to be three cars left in the carpark at Eastbourne Primary School after morning drop off and yes, they belonged to Barb, Leanne and I as we did our ritual walk and talk, keeping fit and keeping up to speed with the events of our school community and exercising Reebok (my little dog). Barb was aghast when she collected Anthony from my son AJ's birthday party to find cake, ice cream and probably a few jube lollies in her son's hair after a controlled food fight 😀 Our boys were in a composite 4/5 class when computers made their way into the Eastbourne education system in the 1990's. Barb and I were chosen as responsible parents of the community (they didn't know of the food fight) to learn and set up programs for the students. This was daunting and exciting, Barb and I had no idea what we were doing with these cumbersome items of technology, we were determined and found ourselves liking this concept of education, until one day the screens went blank and Barb thought we blew up the poor Beagle (the computer program). The Beagle lived to see another day and we accomplished so much for the young students who took to it like ducks to water. Barb was hooked on the concept of email from there on. So speaking of ducks and water, I think of Barb's fish tanks and the FACT that they would also be moving to W.A...if not she wouldn't go. I knew I would always miss her once that move was done. Our condolence's to Neville, Andrea and Anthony and family.
