Uncle Albert's wicked humour
and warm welcomes will always be part of our childhood memories. So many wonderful times with the large group of Dutchies and the Jager family. Uncle Albert will always bring fun memories to us.

Albert Jager - Feeling very humbled to be a part of you and Betty’s life. Would never have thought starting a new job would bring me so much love, laughs and mischief! Even though I only had the 2 years of being a part of your life , the love I had for you and Betty was / is huge . Your stories of your life together will always be remembered. I promised you I would look after Betty, you squeezed my hand and told me you know I will. I hold tight in my heart our heartfelt conversations and your “ Ya ya ya’s” when you didn’t like being told . Blessed to have been part of your world . Until we meet again ❤️

Our love and deepest sympathies to Oma, Jack, Ben and all the extended Jager family.
I fell lucky to have been able to enjoy so much time with your Opa in my life. He always made us feel as welcome in his family as his own grandchildren. I will always remember the sound of his voice and his laugh, and how much he enjoyed seeing the grandkids horsing around, as well as being out on the water. With all our love, Carita, Robert and Aoife xxx

Dear Aunty Betty and family, so sorry for your loss.
Uncle Albert featured most in my life when I was a child living in Forrest Street just up the road from the Jager’s. My sisters and I would often just “drop in” but we would always be made to feel welcome.
I am so glad for the opportunity to catch up with you all at Uncle Albert’s 90th birthday.
Wishing you strength and love.
Joan

Unfortunately, we didn't meet Albert often, but when we did, I saw a very friendly, pleasant, hospitable, and caring man. We have very fond memories of him. Wishing you much strength in the coming days, Betty. Rest in peace, Albert.

So many fun memories with Opa. From Crabbing in Mandurah, backyard cricket, to sitting around the patio in Wandi for family time. You’ll be missed but always remembered fondly. Rest well Opa. Xx

Thank you, uncle Albert, for always including us in your family! Your innate humour and adaptability was always so enjoyable. Being Mom's favourite brother, and having the courage to emigrate, too, made you an uncle in a million! Thank you and Tante Betty for all the stories, travels, meals together and long conversations. Our times together in South Africa and Singapore are of my happiest memories. May you rest in peace, you leave a strong legacy. Pat & Joy xxx
Ps. I always said to Joy: 'Everyone should have an uncle Albert!'
