Hi Dot,
Our thoughts and sympathies are with you and Norms family and friends at this time.
Norm was an amazing man, full of love and laughs. I loved chatting to him when I could while doing my rounds in Seabird and on the occasonal catchups. He was full of great stories and always had a coffee or wine ready when I turned up.
He had a rich and varied life, full of some amazing memories of Vietnam, flying, family, travelling, restoring the past, veterans affairs, and the navy. He will be missed a lot. I hope he wrote enough notes so someone can write his biography. We are sorry we can't be there this morning.
Lots of love and hugs,
Nathan, Catherine, and the 4 munchkins

Norm, please be assured that the Klomp clan will continue to take care of Alanah and Noah. You cannot be replaced and will never be forgotten, so we will do our best to fill that emptiness with love, support and unity. You are clearly an inspiration to Alanah, Jarrad, Noah and many more, there is no doubt your legacy will continue to thrive. Rest easy 🤍

Jarrad Klomp on 27 November, 2023 at 5:38am (AWST)

Norm was not just a father-in-law to me; he embodied warmth, care, and love, embracing me with open arms from the very beginning. His kindness, generosity, and authentic warmth left an indelible mark on me, and I feel privileged to have known such a person.

I will greatly cherish the times you spent with Noah and I am forever grateful he got to meet his Poppy. Thank you for the times of laughter, listening to your many stories, our many phone conversations, arguing about who followed the better footy team and simply enjoying cold beers on the farm.

You always asked me to take care of Alanah and as I always said, I will. Please know that she is in good hands. We find comfort in the cherished memories we have of you Norm and may your love and warmth continue to shine through the our lives. Rest in Peace. Love Jarrad.

Norm dedicated his life to service for his country, community and fellow colleagues.
His focus on those affected by past trauma in all the services is undoubtedly the legacy he leaves behind.
He was devoted to Alanah and Jarrad, his love for Noah knew no boundaries.
We thank Norm for his friendship, all his stories, humour and respect.
Sincere condolences to Alanah, Jarrad, Noah and Dot.

Big love to the best father I could ever ask for, thankyou for loving Jarrad and even more so for our little boy Noah. Going to miss your calls asking me to "fix the tv" for you

Juliette Alcock on 22 November, 2023 at 6:36pm (AWST)

To Alannah
I am sorry that we grieve the death of our Father! I am sorry that we never had a relationship which was built on love and mutual respect! I’m sorry that our Father did not feel the need to nurture a relationship with me so I could have one with you! In time I believe that the slate can be wiped clean and the future holds a new start! I pray that you keep strong and give Noah all the love and respect he deserves!
Love Julie
