Pastor Mei Chin was one of the most genuine pastors I have ever come across. I am especially grateful for her presence in my life during my mid-teens to my early twenties. Throughout those years, she encouraged me by taking my relationship with God seriously and she had always led by example. She was always righteous and showed zero compromise when it comes to teaching the Word. I am also very thankful for the amount of love she had shown towards my family. She left a very significant impact to all of us and we are blessed to have had her in our lives. My thoughts and love to Pastor Joseph and the rest of the family.

A woman of God dedicated to God's work and His people. Pastor Mei Chin always made us feel welcome and we found in her a kindred spirit. She would always remember promises and honour them. We will forever cherish and treasure the beautiful and precious moments we spent together in the presence of the Lord. She was serious with God and we loved this about her. She leaves a lasting impact upon our lives and a legacy to the next generation.

A strong woman of the Lord. Thank you Ps Mei Chin for your input into my life during my uni days. Attached is one of the many photos I took from those days, nearly 25 years ago.

Last 30th January I received a message from my closest Bible School class mate (at Bible College of Malaysia, Petaling Jaya, KL) Pastor Joseph that his beloved wife Mei Chin went to be with the Lord, which was a very shocking news for me. I knew them from that Bible School time (1978-1980). Thy are a very simple, sincere, Spirit filled family. Joseph and I were in the same dormitory for those years. He was a state runner before. After his conversion he became an Evangelist. We have many happy memory that time. He took me to his home church Cityawan, Ipoh, Malaysia and introduced me to his wife and family. She was a kind, simple and smiling woman. After my graduation I came back to Bangladesh and they went to Perth and we couldn't have contact for all these years. Last year I was able to find them through Mei Fung's father in Law (pastoring at KL) and we were able to connect each others again. I miss them so much even after these many years. Still my memory is so clear of those days. I pray for Joseph' my closest friend to have God's abundant grace and mercy to cover him and the closed ones too.

You have gone to be with the Lord. You will always be in our memories. Remembering the good times ❤️

You have done a lot of special work on earth Thanks for that. We’ll remember it always.

We both lived along Main Road Tapah in our early childhood. You were at No. 45 and I was at No. 44. Your dad run a tailoring shop, my dad owned a sundry shop then. During those days, there weren't much toys for kids. We used remnants from your dad's shop and made fabric dolls, put them at the paddle of the sewing machine and rock them lullaby. I would also take some candles (糖冬瓜) , put on a piece of paper, also rock at the paddle indicating cooking the candies. We then shared to eat.
We left Kheung Wa Primary School in 1963, was blessed we were reunited on 8 February 2018. It had been a good 6 years catching up in chats and tea (yum cha).
Mei Chin may your soul rest in peace....

It is with sincere gratitude that I can thank God for aligning my life to Pastor Mei Chin and Pastor Joseph. 2014 was the beginning of my spiritual transformation, learning from these two giants in the faith.

I am blessed and highly favoured to have been taught by Pastor Mei Chin, whom I consider my spiritual mother like no other. Thank you Pastors for giving me back my life, for teaching me about living the true life of what it means to be a Christian, and bringing me back into the light.

My Mother Sheila Smith, daughter Eleanora Crewe and son Anthony Crewe join me in giving God glory for the impact you have had in us all.

On behalf of the international students from Murdoch University, students from all across the globe, we are so grateful to have passed through your teachings. You have equipped us all to be ambassadors of Christ and for this we praise and thank God for your life and for influencing and impacting our lives.

I am particularly thankful for how inclusive you have made us feel, caring for us on a personal and individual level. Your hospitality and care has been greatly appreciated and you have been a true Mother to us all.

Praise the name of Jesus for bringing you into our lives for this season. We will miss you but I have a big part of you and the impact of your love and care in my heart. That will never leave and I cherish the memories of you.

To our dear friend, Sis Mei Chin. We were blessed by your love and passion for the Lord. You were a woman of faith and had a great passion for souls. Because of this, many souls were won through you for the Lord. You were a loyal and a great supporter, when I was pioneering my church in Ipoh. Many of your family members that came to know the Lord through you, became members of our church. We will always be grateful to God for your life.

To my niece Ps. Mei Chin,

We came from a very large family with members spanning across 5 Chinese surnames. Your branch of the family tree was the first to come to know the Lord and was the trailblazer. Praise God, many in the large family have now accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Although we rarely meet except on family events, you came across as a true disciple of the Lord. I wish I had more opportunities to know you better then.

You are now safe in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ and may your soul rest in peace.

I learnt so much from your selflessness, resilience and strong faith in God. Your last words to me resonates in my heart: you whispered those enduring words of pray and encouragement as you comfort me in your warm and lovely embrace.
Though your memories remain indelible in my heart, I hope one day I will be able to keep them alive in every heart through the "Coloured Bible"-a lagacy of yours that brings the word of God alive! My mom, wife, children and I say "sleep on mentor, pastor and mother!"

Very sad and hurting to hear the sad news that you have return to the Lord. I can still hear and remember how call me with your sweet voice 'Mary'. It's so painful to think that I will never hear it again. We have lost someone close and dear.
We were physically miles apart but we are united in mind, heart and prayers. You may be out of sight but not of our heart and mind.
Mei Chin you have been a blessing to us, I am thankful to God for that. We will miss and love you till we meet again in heaven.

Even in the short time I knew you, thank you for welcoming me so warmly into your spiritual family, showing me so much love and kindness when I was yet a stranger. Thank you for praying bold prayers, thank you that you are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for being such a willing carer and councillor for me from the very moment I met you.

I was just an international student studying in Murdoch back in 2000, and attended Evangel. I grew in faith, holiness, knowledge, and love of God, and you were instrumental in my growth. Even though you're not around, yet the values and principles still stay with me until today, and that's the impact you had on peoples lives. RIP pastor Mei Chin, see you on the beautiful shores.

And now you have left behind the fruits of your labor which is growing even more. But one thing I am of certain, is that the input you have given, the love you shown, the prayers you have prayed, every single person that you have reached out to and all the work of God that you've done will never fade away and it will keep growing. Lastly, I want to thank you again for being in my life, for training me, teaching me, being an aunt to me, my senior pastor, and for being a spiritual mother to me. I will never forget your heart, kindness, dedication, and love you had for me. Thank you Ps Yee Poh, and I'll see you again.

Always remembering Pastor Mei Chin's Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, labour of love, perseverance, strength and pushing through in spite of her health challenges. Your care and love for the flock is tremendous. Only God knows. Working with Pastor Mei Chin, has opened my eyes to see what it truly means to have a pastoral heart. Our family are thankful to God for her life, and have benefited much input of the Word of God into our lives. We love you and miss you.

Thank you Pastor Mei Chin for being my pastor. You've demonstrated through your life what it means to serve the Lord sacrificially, whole-heartedly, with passion and intensity. Dear Ps Mei Chin,
Thank you truly for all that you have input into my life. Even when I would not receive, you still sought to watch over my soul rather than please the flesh. I thank you for never failing to correct, discipline or rebuke me. You loved all of us with a love that extended beyond this life - the love of Christ. You truly were our spiritual mother, and I’m forever grateful that God set me into this family; into this church with you as our senior Pastor. Praise God for His mercy endures forever Amen.

I never knew what God was thinking when He sent Pastor Mei Chin into my life. I now know only a mere little bit–she came to lead me to God and implant His love and Word into my heart. But when I myself meet her in Heaven, in the presence of God, that is when I shall fully know and understand. Pastor was only a small part of God's grand story, and her greatest joy was to get me–and others–to do our part in its telling. And so I shall, by His grace and love. Though her life has ended, God's story has not. When Pastor stands in the presence of God, I am confident that the first thing she will hear is, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord."

Pastor Mei Chin, I can’t even explain how grateful I am for having someone who loved me though my imperfections and someone who loved me enough to correct them. Only the last year and a bit have I truly understood what it meant to love someone and be loved by someone.
I never could imagine you would go to be with the Lord so soon, but PRAISE THE LORD! You have finally received your reward. You were the very living example of what it meant to live a normal Christian life and an encouraging leader anyone could look up to.
I’m sorry for the years I wasted but I’m so grateful to God that I could at least have one year with you as a true born again Christian. I learnt so much in such a short time and I truly grew so much because of what God did through your life.

I would like to thank God for putting Pastor Koopor into my life, who loved and took care of me. No one would have done what Pastor Koopor would have done, and that is to have patience in teaching us from the smallest things in life to the biggest. I’m so grateful for each and every time I have received your correction by the Holy Spirit, I know it’s because you care and you love me so much and without it, I wouldn’t have grown and matured to the person I am today. Thank you pastor Ku por for teaching me to be a better person, I thank God also for giving you the strength to teach me, and guide me to the right path, and I thank God for the word of God that he has given to you to share it with us.
