I had the privilege of working with Mat some 15 odd years ago. Such an amazing person. Gone too soon mate. Love to your family.

It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to a man that means so much to myself and my brother Cameron. Mat, who I always let him know, was the saviour to our company when we needed it the most.
We were in a basically defeated position, but Mat being Mat backed us in and saved us. I will never forget and will cherish his friendship and remember the great times and laughs we had through our journey.
You just always knew it was going to be a good time when you were catching up with Mat, never short on conversation, and we had very similar points of view on life. I will truly miss you mate, such a shame we both got Covid at the same time and missed our annual Christmas catch up. If I can take a positive from a situation as you always did, I am thankful we crossed paths some 12 years ago and going forward will lean on the memories of your ever positive attitude regardless of the hurdles, you were so inspirational mate, you really were.

My heart is so heavy for you all, with the loss of your beloved husband Sonia, and Frazer and Milan, your adored father. Words can never take the pain & grief away but please know you're all in my thoughts. I will always remember the special time we had together through our journey and remember Mat as a funny, intelligent and genuine man.
You did him so proud today. All my love to you all xx

The most lovely man and neighbour. In our first house with young children you and Sonia embraced us. So saddened to hear your life has been cut short. We have no doubt though, your time with loved ones was so very precious and will never be forgotten.

Mat. I am devastated to learn this news. It has shaken me knowing I can't share our usual banter and catchphrase we started way back in 2009 on our weekly office visits. Thanks for guiding me through early on in my banking and finance career, no matter the years apart from working in the same place, you were always there to help out on mutual customers and converse as always. It was a great day a little over two years ago walking into Level 12 joining Medifn to find you nearby. Knowing how lucky I was to be working in the same place with you again, and picking up on our usual banter and catchphrase to bring a smile and plenty of laughs. I was lucky to know you. I will never forget you mate.

I was surprised and saddened to hear about Mat’s passing. He was such a good guy. Losing the one you love is so hard, so I’m praying for you and your family; for peace, for comfort, for whatever you need right now.
