Rest easy, Tristan. I never expected you to break my heart, but this news did. You were too kind for this world and deserved a far happier ending as a grey-haired old man. I'm sorry it came now. Thankfully, you always lived life to the fullest and loved those who loved you. Thank you for your endless generosity and for always looking out for my sister when I couldn't. Thanks for the memories. Take care, mate.

Thank you T, for always being one the best humans we know. You are an incredible friend over the past 20 years. Words can't describe how much I'm going to miss you. Still can't believe you aren't here anymore. T, hopefully you are in a better place, cause you only deserve the best. We will never forget you xxx The Lemons
ToTS Cricket Team on 4 December, 2024 at 5:52am (AWST)
T2 started playing for the TOTS Indoor Cricket Team around 2018. He brought enthusiasm, reliability, good banter and the added benefit of bringing our average team age down significantly. T2 proved to be a great fit in the team and in an unofficial countback over the years, he earnt "Best on Field" just as many times as "Worst on Field" where he was regularly honoured with the coveted pink jersey which had to be worn during the next game with the hope that it would push a better performance (but rarely did). T2 was brave and loved fielding up close where he would use the angry crab stance (actual image included in his timeline) to intimidate the batter for some brilliant catches and run-outs over the years, but also copped smacks all over the body and one square in the eye just recently. During the post-game debriefs in the carpark he was always quick to remind us of his brilliance, and of course we'd temper that with truths of the drops, missed run-out chances, **** bowling and terrible running between the wickets. That said, several years ago T2 contributed magnificently in a TOTS grand final win and I'm sure there were a few more GF's for the other teams as well.T2 never missed a game or an end of season event. Most recently, we all went to the stadium to watch Australia play Pakistan where we enjoyed a great catch up over a few beers whilst watching the game that we all loved. It was unimaginable that he would be gone only a few days later, but I guess we were lucky to have shared his company so recently, and to have shook his hand one last time. T2 brought us so many laughs, good times and memories over many years. We will remember him as a very funny bloke who loved his mates as much as they loved him and a cricketer who always gave his absolute best. Well batted mate! TOTS

Hey T2. Only knew you through cricket but that was enough. You were a great guy, an excellent team mate and a wonderful player. I'll always remember the chats we had when you bought your first home; the land, then the build, then the decorating. Rest in peace brother. Gone too soon. JD.
