My dear CC, there are no words to express the sadness I feel for what you are going through. You have had a very tough year and you all suffered so much in the process. Now it is time to grieve, to remember Tim and all the me memories you made together. Little Declan is and will be a cherished little boy who will remind you to live every day to the max. There is a memorial to fallen climbers at the base of Mt Cook in New Zealand, with an inscription which reads: “Death is but a horizon, beyond which we cannot see.” With all that you are going through now, and the road ahead, know that you both are always in our hearts and minds. Our deepest condolences to Cynthia, Declan and the entire Davies family on the sudden loss of Timmy. He was a warrior until the end and will be enterally missed. Timmy, you are a true friend. Our mateship meant alot to me and our times catching up recently was always a reminder of your strength, love of your family and friends and most importantly, enjoying life. The memories of our teenage years growing up together, testing boundaries, learning what life was about, will live with me forever. I always walked a little taller when you were around. It is with profound sadness that I learned of Tim’s passing. Having had the privilege of working closely with him, I will always remember his professionalism, integrity, and the warmth he brought to every interaction. Tim was not only an exemplary colleague but also a remarkable individual whose presence enriched the lives of those around him. My thoughts are with his wife, Cynthia, and his son, Declan, during this heartbreaking time. Tim often spoke with such pride and love for his family, and I cannot begin to imagine the depth of their loss.
