I was saddened to hear of the passing of Theresa. We shared so many laughs and quiet chats at work (Fortescue), often swapping stories about family, work, and everyday life. She has such a kind soul and was always there with a helping hand whenever it was needed. Theresa’s beautiful smile and gentle nature will stay with me always. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Sending so much love, comfort, and strength to Theresa’s family during this heartbreaking time.

Theresa my beautiful best friend of 34 years , I cannot believe you have already made the journey home to heaven ... We shared so many firsts together , your first day at coodanip high school In year 9 the day we met and out friendship began , our first house together at the Mandurah holiday village and becoming mother's together . It didn't matter if we lived close by each other or miles apart , the bond was always the same . I will miss our 3 hour phone calls reminiscing about our younger days and sharing updates ... Please be there to meet me on the day I too go home to heaven ...say hello to your mum and Emma for me . I will keep your dad and Michael and Richard and your 5 beautiful babies in my prayers . Until we see each other again my beautiful friend , I love you xoxoxo Sending you all love Paul , Richard ,Michael , Vanessa , Carol , Jay , Jacob and Elijah xoxoxoxo. Theresa was such an important part of my life growing up. As teenagers we think our parents are the worst, we’d often run to anyone else for advice. I was beyond lucky to be able to call Theresa’s house my second home. No matter the trouble, she was there. No judgement, no anger, no frustration in having to deal with another teenage meltdown. Just there, sometimes with wise words, and sometimes just with good company. On the odd occasion she was even there with a good lecture to keep me in check, to keep me from going down the wrong path. I am so beyond grateful for the spot she held in my life, and will continue to hold. Read full message here.
