Anita, Carla and families our love and thoughts are with you today and throughout these days of sadness.
With our love, thoughts and prayers xox
My dear cousin, taken too soon from a family she loved. In time, happy memories will replace the sadness we all feel now. Sue's optimism and courage through her illness were an inspiration.
I met you in my early teens and saw you had stolen my father's heart. Fierce, determined and independent, so utterly different to what I had ever known. Ours was not always an easy path, but we shared our love of books, and you read my first poems laced with teenage angst. You loved my father, and he doted on you. That was enough for me. We found our way together and forged a relationship; filled with love and respect.Yet maybe a relationship only we could ever understand. Infact, you possibly understood me better then most. You've held and welcomed my three sons as your own. You never said no to adventure, or steered us girls clear of it. I hope your enjoying your new adventure, if not I'm sure you will give them hell.
Tricia, Marceli, Jacob, Santiago and Ezequiel.
You will be sadly missed Sue. Thank you for being that "Mentor Mum" that we needed growing up, always a reliable and sensible source of advise. I am grateful for the pearls of wisdom you have left with me and that I still use daily. You are a remarkable person and your legacy will live on. My most sincere condolences to Carla, Anita & Terry, you were their world and I hope they are comforted by all the special memories you shared. Love to all, Amanda x

The place: MARGARET RIVER
The occasion: A GIRLS ONLY WEEKEND
We had 4 days of laughter, fun, food, drink & more laughter. 4 days...4 girls....one skipper per day....that worked. Coffee & cake at the bakery.....we talked & laughed....2 hrs passed....oh well, well stay for lunch!! You & I shared a room. I have RLS so we tossed a coin for the bed. You lost & you gracefully slept on 2 spare mattresses on the floor. Shopping & browsing the shops all day. Every 2nd shop so the next day we could go to the alternative ones. Whilst browsing one day you or I? Were looking at some pretty China mugs & one fell to the floor breaking. The owner flew at us...you'll be paying for that!! Me.....I would have paid & run. Not you my amazing friend. You fired back...."We will pay for the breakage, but if you displayed your wares more thoughtfully these accidents wouldn't happen & as for your customer service...well that leaves a bit to be desired" You then consoled me with such compassion & a huge hug. "It's ok. We'll sort it"....we never paid for that mug!! One special visit to the Berry Farm. Devonshire tea under the pergola on a sunny winters day. Beautiful little birds fluttered around us. Landing on our table & eating any spare crumbs. Photo opportunities abound. The beautiful blue wren pictured was snapped by Pam. This little magnificent creature when spied in the wild will always be a reminder to me of your grace, beauty & determination. You have given us & are part of some awesome memories.
"FLY FREE OUR BEAUTIFUL BLUE WREN"
So sorry to hear of Susan leaving us, it’s over 30 years since we last met at Aunty Beryl’s and Uncle Roy’s in Rutland Street Grimsby, but I still remember her as a bubbly lass with a heart of gold. My deepest thoughts are with Terry, Carla, Anita and all the family. X

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of a beautiful lady. I never got chance to meet her but when my mum Karen went over to see her a few years ago she made some lovely memories and told us all about sue. Which was my mum's cousin. My love and thoughts go out to all family and friends. The sky has gained a beautiful angel.
My deepest condolences go out to Carla and Anita and Terry....and all other family members...I remember Sue with so many fond memories...when we were younger and doing our very best to bring our children up single handedly.Sue always had a good ear for listening and usually had the right answer before the day was over..She was a loving Mum to both her girls and taught them high morals and you only have to look at these girls to know that she succeeded.Sue will be very sadly missed so I say night night sleep tight you beautiful Angel.xxxxx
