So deeply saddened to be writing this right now. You were so young, and had so much more to live for. A lovely, bubbly, kind, and gentle girl. You will be very much missed by all who worked with you Shelley. To all Shelley's family, I hope and pray that your heartache lessens each passing day. Rest in eternal peace Shelley, you will be remembered fondly. Love Over Gold Julie 💔 xxx

I met Shelley February 2008 when I moved to Oz and started working at Hollywood. We clicked straight away and shared many laughs both at work and on nights out. Our legendary night out in Northbridge is still to be matched. She was a huge support to me in Australia when I needed my family the most but they were in Scotland. My heart aches for the whole family, she will be so very sadly missed by anyone who had the privilege to meet her. Sending you all the sincerest condolences and love. With love Lynsey (Scotland)

Such a sad loss to the nursing profession. Words are all we have but in no way will they ever ease the pain and heartbreak experienced by her family at this time. She was a beautiful soul who I know will have left you all with precious memories to cherish. Rest in eternal peace Shelley

Beautiful words received from the staff at Healthcare Australia Just wanted to pass on my condolences to yourself & the team with hearing the sad news about Shelley. I think I can speak for my whole team when I say Shelley was the highlight of our early mornings, those 5am starts were always made easier when we jumped on the phone to have the chats and laughs with Shelley. I find the relationships we make over the phone with people over the years is just as strong as you would make in person, and I think that goes to show how much of an impact she made to be able to say she will be missed among a team that have never met her. You’re all in our thoughts.

It has been such a privilege to know Shelly and I have so many fond memories. Shelley and I have been friends through work for over 15 years. A most superb, empathetic and loving human being and equally those qualities were apparent always in her role as after hours manager and dedicated nurse at Hollywood Private Hospital. Her work in its nature was often challenging, Not that she ever complained or said so,yet Shelley had a gift, a beautiful heart and soul. Although I never met her family personally, through our chats I felt the love she had for them. To me it was obvious she loved being a sister, sister in law and especially aunt to her family here in Perth. Shelley clearly and so obviously loved … her famy, friends and the nurss and staff she was responsible forat Hollywood. she will always have a special place in my heart and the people who knew her. My sincerest condolences to Shelley’s Family, i cannot imagine how difficult it must be for you. Sending you all much love. I believe that Shelley is still with us in spirit. Shelley that’s for you “ Thank you for having enriched my life, I feel the deepest gratitude for having been a tiny part in your life and for your friendship, and most if all for all the laughs we had together xxx❤️❤️❤️

I had the pleasure of growing up with Shelley (and the whole Marshall family) and such a pleasure it was. I remember as kids rummaging through cupboards with Stuart and Craig, both at our place and their's with Shelley (and our parents) chastising us for causing chaos, especially at Christmas when we should've been on our best behavior! I hadn't seen Shelley in a while before her brother's wedding, but like old friends mud just sticks. Dave, Pat and the rest of the family, my heart goes out to you! Let me know if you need anything.

Farewell and RIP my beautiful cousin. You were always loved and adored by so many and this sad time will never change that. We have so many wonderful memories as a family from going to school together, growing up in the same Street, camping on the block at Scamander to later camping at Douglas River with myself and Bruce. Thank you for agreeing to be the godmother to our son Alex 28 years ago this year. So much time and amazing journeys have happened over the past 53 and for me nearly 55 years, I take my hat off to your achievements and commitment to your career but ultimately to your beautiful family, my uncle David, Aunty Pat Craig and Stuart, their respective partners and your beautiful 3 nephews and niece. My memories will be kept in a safe place full of love and I promise I will visit them on a regular basis and give them some time in the sun, especially the most joyous, fun and precious ones. I hope that the helicopter that you were always so busy polishing and why you couldn’t always take my phone calls, or so your voicemail told me, took you on a glorious final journey to the most amazing place that is deserving of you. Love you Cuz.
