Goodbye Ron. You recruited me and were my first big boss. at ABS in 1970. You provided kind and wise counsel to a headstrong young woman.

Sorry to read of Ron's passing. He was one of the first people we met on arrival in Australia in 1964 and we moved into Condamine Street a couple of days after Ron and his family moved to Hackett. We appreciated his valuable advice and guidance as we settled into our new job and new life in Australia.

Sad to see you go Ron but you’re moving on to another stage. Will miss the intelligent conversations we had.

I shall miss your welcoming smile and little chuckles – your warmth and wisdom. I know how much you adored Sheila, your children and your grandchildren. Views always proffered with a balanced vision. And I certainly loved our travels together with both you and Sheila as wonderful companions

Ron there are so many things that made you special. I loved how you scooped me up and made me feel part of the Fowler clan from the moment we met. I loved the many lively and easy conversations over a glass of red, the sharing of stories of your adventures with Sheila, the expressions of love and passion for your family. Its been an honor and privilege and I miss you already.

Dear uncle Ron . We loved being with you both here in the UK and in Australia . So many trips ,so many visits .The best tour guide ever!! Every visit was great but our last one to say goodbye last November was the most special sharing that time making new memories with you and the legacy that is your family. We will miss you but have so many wonderful memories to keep . Forever in our hearts. xx.
