Michael Joseph McCluskey 14 November 1950 – 28 June 2024

I didn’t get to see Uncle Michael as much as I would have liked; but it says a lot about a person that they leave an impression across continents that makes you want to know them even more. I remember a man who was steadfast in his love for his family, kind, strong willed, and had the beautiful McCluskey twinkle in the eye. Our Australian Easter egg hunt was one of my favourites ever! All my love to our family who will be feeling this loss so keenly and deeply. Xx

such lovely memories and this is a photo of the first, the first day i met michael and angi in cheltenham in 1997 for kelli’s graduation ceremony. i was a tad nervous that day but was put at ease as both michael and angi were so warm and friendly. shortly after taking this photo, michael whisked me off to the local pub, st. paul’s tavern, where we joked, had a beer and played pool. i think i may have let him win! i am so thankful for michael’s support and kindness over the years and for wholeheartedly welcoming me into the mccluskey family in australia. my sincere condolences to angi and family. rest in peace michael. will miss you steve x.
