In loving memory of a truly gentle soul and our friend of many years Lynne. Dearest Lynne You were always sweet, caring, and endlessly kind — someone who always looked after and served everyone around you without ever asking for anything in return. Your quiet warmth touched every life you crossed, and your kindness will be remembered always. May your beautiful spirit rest in peace in your heavenly home. We will miss you Lynne and all the special times of fellowship and laughter we shared. Forever in our hearts - love, Andrew & Sue

A poem I wrote to honour mum for her bravery, courage and beauty, and for the sacrifices she made for those around her Life is pain and tears, but life is also love, comfort and peace, Life is a storm, but life is also a captivating sunset on the beach with all the wonder of colourful light shimmering across the sky, Life is fear and entrapment and obligation, but life is also freedom and joy and triumph, Life is feeling the chilling winter and hearing the cracking thunder and seeing the violent waves crashing, but life is feeling the warm sun radiate over your face and hearing the soft breeze rattle the leaves of a hundred trees and seeing the light of day illuminate all the subtle movements and flow of the oceans blanket of magic and intrigue Life is facing adversaries and enduring tribulations and climbing treacherous mountains, but life is also revelling in the moments that take your breath away along the walk home, and being still for long enough to notice and appreciate all the surroundings that every sense can experience Life is getting entangled in all the tasks and errands and boxes to tick, but life is also watching everyone go by, lingering with the cups of tea and biscuits, engaging with the cherished friendships, the times that create connection, and the unforgettable conversations that are nourishing and everlasting and invaluable, Life is sadness and feeling deep sorrow and regret and loss, but life is also finding peace, acceptance and rest, but also justice and contentment and feeling grateful and appreciative of what we have and what we strive for and who we share our time with and what difference we can make, Life is pain and tears, but life is also love, comfort and peace. And celebration of life itself, of personal achievements, friendships, special occasions, birthdays, new babies, weddings, holidays, and anything that brings us together. Life is to celebrate the lives of both those around us, and those who are gone from earth, but here for eternity. And forever remembered and loved.

Mrs Bridge, I just have too many memories to list. You really did play such a big part of my childhood and into young adulthood. Your home was like a second home. The many days and nights we all spent there. You always were so gracious and kind and gentle. Like a second mum. You always made us feel like part of the family. I can still see us all there after church sundays and you’d be preparing the table for so many unexpected guest. Hot chicken and rolls and salad. It was never too much for you. Your love and generosity just was who you were. You were always a safe place and a second home for so many of us. Thank you for investing in so many of us young people and creating so many of our childhood memories that last a lifetime. You are faithful, loving , kind, patient, and a wonderful role model for us Proverbs 31:10-31
