TO MEMORY TIMELINE
Lachlan was the first of all the boys (and Rhori). He was gentle, and sweet, and kind. He watched on as the crazy went on around him and snuck a cheeky little grin with his innocent wee face! We know he wasn’t always the innocent one. 🥰 I love thinking of those times. The birthday parties, the outings, Christmas Days at the beach. Those days were filled with watching the joy and fun all the kids had together. Lachlan had the best smile. It was pure joy! Words don’t feel like enough but this poem feels like it says the words I can’t find. MISS ME MOST When you feel you are without me close your eyes sink down beneath your skin retreat within I am the blood that flows I am the courage in your gut that grows I am the chamber in your heart that feels like home only my body has flown, I dwell still within your bones my voice, and all the good I have ever known is yours to own when you feel you are without me listen close I whisper louder when you miss me most Love to you Julie and Jason and to all the family xx Irene, Jay and Connor

Aww! Lachlan you were taken from this earth far too soon. But your smile would light up a whole room. My memories of you Lachlan are, you were so little. We were over at your Gran and Granddad's staying. You always ran to your grandad Gordon asking for "orange juice". Every time your grandad would give you the orange juice. You were not happy at all Lachlan. Until we were there, you Lachlan asked for "orange juice" grandad Gordon gave you it. Your wee face. I said " Gordon, Lachlan is not asking for orange juice. He's asking for Ice Age. Your wee face when Grandad Gordon put Ice Age on. Our Gordon could not believe it. He said I have been giving Lachlan orange juice for a very long time. Linda Anne comes over from Scotland and says my grandson Lachlan is asking for Ice Age. You came over and sat up on my lap and we watched Ice Age together. Love you so much Lachlan. Fly high young man xxxx
