Julia used to give me horse lessons at magenup adult riders club she just loved my horse I just loved her cause she saw how wonderful my horse was, then I lost my horse and she came out to give me lessons on my new horse just a lovely knowledge kind person she was will miss her 😢😢🐎
I first met Julia when Roannah was a toddler (who terrorised my chooks), and Caitlyn was 6 months old in a stroller. I had been given the contact details of Julia to help me with a 4 yo unbroken 17hh Holsteiner mare that was out of my control. Julia turned up at my place with 2 small kids, a car full of stuff, and an unwell dog - I knew from that moment she was a special person. To my astonishment, Julia was riding my unruly horse 3 days later! I was astounded and absolutely amazed at her horse handling skills. When I asked here where I had gone wrong with this horse, Julia said calmly "you were trying too hard and doing too much - do very little and let the horse work it out". I shall never forget that. We had many great times over the years from going to Rottnest with the girls, to looking at horses, and lots of red wine in-between. Roannah and Caitlyn - your Mum loved you both so much and was so proud of you both. Julia - you will always be in my heart - see you on the other side my friend for a glass of wine and to remember the good times.....Love, Janet
Julia, I was saddened to read of your passing. Sincere condolences to Rohannah, Kaitlin and their families. Helen Turner and Asha Gearing
RIP dear Julia You were transformational for Llewella and I. I still float load the way you taught, when I say. I still try to use my bum reins 🩷 You fully agreed with us that arena work was boring and took us to places other coaches wouldn't. So many wonderful memories, and some good arguments too, but we always recovered. You taught me so much and gave Llewella and I wings. EVERY time I load her in the float, I send you a thank you, even now, 8 years later. You will always be with us on our journey and I'm so grateful for all that you gave us, abd that we became friends. With much love from Linda and Llewella
My deepest condolences to Kaitlyn and Roannah, and Julia's furbabies, in the loss of your amazing mum. She was an incredible, kind and tenacious woman, and will be greatly missed by me (and baby Dutch, who she helped me train). I learned so much from her as Im sure so many others did too. Thank you Julia, for everything you did. Much love to all those grieving, but remember all those fond memories and her huge and wonderful personality. Love from Laura
