Rest in peace and without pain now, Uncle John. My precious memories of our fun and adventure shared growing up in Cannington will fondly always remain. Your strength, resilience of character, thirst for hard work and larrikin's sense of adventure, ensured your confidence and willingness for any task or challenge always shone – maybe symbolised by your “boxing rooster” tattoo. Our time on earth is fleeting but rewarded. In my prayers I asked the Good Lord to keep your soul in his safe keeping and a hold a place in Heaven, where we will all rejoice with you one day. Until then, Rest in Peace, Uncle John. Love – Nephew Wayne.
