I only met him twice, once as the wee quiet fellow (him not me) at your wedding all those years ago(1972?), and then on your last visit to Ireland when it was as if we knew him all our lives,such was his warmth, and interest in our family. I remember John always used to tell me not to worry about saving my money but to spend it and there was no better way to spend it on buying Guinness, I’ll be having one for you this weekend mate
