Graham Amor 16 November 1941 – 6 March 2025

Dear Wendy, We feel your pain and grief these days following the passing of your dear husband Graham. We met you both through my cousin Liz Bell from Mansfield. We met in person during your trip to Europe and spent a few days together. We often think of the excursions to Lake Traunsee or to the mountains with lots of snow and sunshine. It was a wonderful time with you both. Since then we have been in regular contact. Graham with his calm and friendly manner will always remain in our fond memories. Our sincere condolences. Erich and Maria

Graham Amor was a simple, quiet, no fuss gentleman. He and Wendy first met all of the Reddy/Phillips family in 1985 after a visit from John and Peg Reddy in Australia years before. Graham has always been the man behind the wheel, chauffeuring us around Western Australia while graciously helping to forge a whole new family of cousins from the US. Graham indulged the family with visits to Denver, and beyond, for years. Graham was always a willing participant, with even more visits as Jim and Margie’s girls grew into adults and had families of their own. Graham’s smile and dry wit made us always feel loved and welcomed. Weather he was behind the wheel, driving Elizabeth from coast to coast while she studied abroad at UWA, or flying to meet Bri and Regis in Europe, or taking Cassie to Margaret River, Graham always was the gracious gentle guy, willing to literally go to the ends of the earth for Wendy and the family. Jim and I laugh to this day, remembering Graham taking us around in the car to find an elusive Roo to see before we had to return to the states. He was determined that the American cousins would have a memorable holiday, Kangaroo and all. After every trip, what stood out the most about our times together, was not only the memories of some very fun adventures and lovely times, but Graham’s unfailing devotion to Wendy. His example of love, patience and kindness will remain with us always. Thank you Graham for your love, we will miss you.

A lovely man who welcomed us into the family with warmth and compassion. So sorry we did not have a chance to spend more time with him.
