David Richards 29 November 1964 – 7 September 2024
CONTRIBUTE
TO MEMORY TIMELINE
To all the Richards family and friends. My prayers are with you at this sad time. Hopefully we will all come together again one day in Heaven. I have so many memories of Dave . Most particularly the holidays that I spent with Tamara and Dave in WA
We send prayers and condolences to all the Richards family in this very sad time. We hold dear memories of a most cheeky, and always hilarious, David at the St. Kieran's Manlyvale Youth Group. David was always ready with a joke and a laugh. We shall miss him and will never forget his wonderful sense of fun. xx
Sending love, light and comfort to Ben, Jake, Adam and Tamara as David returns into the loving arms of Mum and Dad for eternity. My little brother David who suffered three big sister's who would dress him up; make up and all; and call him Davina.... David cherished his gifts at Christmas and birthdays from Aunty Gwen and meticulously polished his much loved matchbox cars, trucks and fire engine so they always looked brand new. We didn't have a lot of toys but we had a lot of fun. An enthusiastic Uncle who made his nephew Daniel the best billy cart ever on his first birthday which went on to last for generations of babies making lots of laughter, fun and excitement when we all got together at Grandma and Grandpas. My memories of Davids chilhood include that he loved his family, he was happy and enjoyed soccer, photography, Orchids, swimming and fishing. Luv ya fly free forever big little brother...

>read onUncle David, You were the man with some of the worst Dad Jokes I’ve ever heard, but I did still giggle at every one of them! The BBQ king, the Billy cart builder, the soccer enthusiast, the man with the greenest lawn & cleanest car in the neighbourhood. You took pride in your home, your kids & family. Your face lit up whenever you spoke about Ben, Jake & Adam. May you rest in peace with Grandma & Grandpa, your parents. xx
To David's family and friends at this very sad time, please accept my sincere sympathies. David and I lived 1000s of ks apart, and so I did not see him too often. David was easy going and a pleasure to be with. I have always believed that David was a "good bloke" and I am proud to be his cousin. Steve from Bega
We were with you today during the funeral; cheers to David. Deepest sympathy to Tamara, Adam, Jake & Ben. Warm greetings from Jorien & Jan, Diekendaal, Netherlands.

>read onDave was a good mate during secondary school at St. Augustine's College in Brookvale. Together with Jim Stapleton, it was a joy to catch up with him and have a beer or two when he was back in Sydney. Of course, we are never to know how much time we have been allotted on this planet and Dave's time with us all was sadly all too brief. But if a man can be judged by the quality of what he leaves behind, then Dave Richards should have been surely proud. His three boys have become wonderful men who did their Dad proud at this memorial. Thank you for the privilege of being able to share it, albeit belatedly. Love and hugs.
