Dave was a good mate during secondary school at St. Augustine's College in Brookvale. Together with Jim Stapleton, it was a joy to catch up with him and have a beer or two when he was back in Sydney. Of course, we are never to know how much time we have been allotted on this planet and Dave's time with us all was sadly all too brief. But if a man can be judged by the quality of what he leaves behind, then Dave Richards should have been surely proud. His three boys have become wonderful men who did their Dad proud at this memorial. Thank you for the privilege of being able to share it, albeit belatedly. Love and hugs.
