That man is a success – who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children, who has filled his niche and accomplished his task, who leaves the world better than he found it, who has never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it, who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. That man, is my dad 💕

You were my Tata and I was always your Bugsy. The youngest child to come along, you always made me feel so proud to be your daughter. You were an amazing dad who truly was my hero. In a million lifetimes I would always choose you to be my dad. How I would give for another few hours in your company, to sit by your side and to hug you goodbye until we would meet again. Respect for you extends far beyond my love for you. You are respected and loved my many. You looked after us, you cared for many others, you worked tirelessly for the Croatian community and you never forgot your homeland. Your smile was infectious and could light up a room and fill many hearts with warmth, especially mine. I don’t have the words to describe the pain of having lost you but my heart will carry you with me. You were a legend, my legend, a true gentleman. If men could only be a fraction of the man you were, then we would all be blessed. I hope to go forward with my life with your kindness, warmth, gratitude and selflessness. For you have given me the values that many try to achieve and fail, but you lived by. I feel blessed to have had you by my side for so many years and loved so unconditionally. Hvala moj Tata ❤️ Love always Vesna x

Dad, You were a man of unparalleled integrity. You believed in doing the right thing, even when it was hard or unpopular. Your honesty and strong moral compass were clear in everything you did, from your career to your relationships with family and friends. You taught me that integrity isn’t just about honesty, it’s about being true to yourself and your beliefs. You leave this world better for having you in it. But how I wish you had stayed a little longer. Forever in my thoughts, heart and prayers. Biserka
