Both Alan and Elaine were very good friends when they lived in UK.One resounding memory we have of Alan is when he went through our conservatory roof, while trying to help Glen fix it,we often talk about it and whether we should have emigrated with you Sending all our Love to you all XXXXX RIP ALAN

Condolence to you all. Alan was an absolute gentleman and legend. Taught me alot in my scouting days and always knew how to bring the best out in a person. He always knew how to have a laugh and brighten the room.

Hi Alan I so miss your dulcit tones, and loved nothing better when you were taking the pee, always knew it meant you were well liked by you 😂. I am sure when tomorrow comes you know there will be lots of tears but also lots of memories of you and laughs along the way. I hope you will be very impressed by the show of the firefighters that you worked with and enjoyed helping as always other people. You will always be loved and missed. Love you from your fav sis in law 🥰 xxxx

Oh Alan what a sad day this will be. I have some very funny memories of you, I can still see your face when Elaine and I decided to try some of your special wine saved for special occasions, and the look of horror when we confessed to tipping the one's we didn't like down the sink! Cheers to you Alan ! Sue X

Alan was a genuine soul who never stopped being himself. His hard working attitude was only topped by his ability to make those around him laugh. Alan was a singular life force and will be sorely missed. Time to 'make up' and head back to station for a final debrief. Rest easy friend.
