I'm struggling to find words to express the hole that is left in the lives of all of us, which speaks volumes of how much Richard was loved. I will miss his smile, his laugh, his cheeky sense of humour, but will cherish the wonderful memories I have of times shared with him, the best Uncle and great-Uncle to Kristian. I wish I could have had another chance to play golf with you, raise a glass with you, crack another joke with you. We take comfort that you are at peace now, after achieving your dream of reuniting with Leanne, Russell and your grandchildren in Australia. To Barbara, we send courage and strength to continue the adventure xxx

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. Times we shared together will be our memories forever. Sleep tight dear brother.

Heartfelt condolences to Barbara and all the family. Richard was a great guy, and it was a real pleasure to have known him. I especially remember the day we went with his brother in law Ken to see a One Day International cricket match at the Hampshire CC ground. If memory serves, we had typical English weather .. rain and the match was reduced overs, but Rich was in his element and with a few beers and some exciting cricket it was a fantastic day with great company. RIP Rich, I and all the guys in the Fantasy League football group will miss you..
