Alex, I knew you when you were a young lad, and you made most of your memories on the other side of the world. I couldn’t be there today to say goodbye to you and support my friend Russ, but through the wonders of technology I could at least pay my respects and hear about some of your adventures in more recent years. What was clear to me was that you have left far too early an amazing tight group of mates, your lovely family, and all others who knew you. But you have left them all with something to smile and laugh about. You were your father’s son and listening to your mates today reminded me of some of the times your dad and I had back in the UK when we were finding our ways in life through our late teens and early twenties. A chip off the block. A Quilter. One of the good ones. My Love and condolences are with Russ, Felicity, Olivia, Brenda, your friends, and your Mother Tiffany xxx Rest In Peace Alex.

Alex, I loved watching you grow and mature over your time at Fremantle Christian College as part of the inaugural high school group of students - the first Year 7's, the first to do everything and the first graduating class. You had such an adventurous spirit, were always willing to give things a go and were alway the friend to everyone in the year group - you always included everyone. The group had some amazing times together, from Yr 7 camp, Dowerin field days, the first group to move into each of the new buildings, Year 9 camp, Year 10 camp, all the way through Year 12 Ball and the Outdoor Education cycling trip in Yr 12. You were a key part of all of them and so many good memories of you in each of these events. You were such a good friend and incredibly important part of the early story of Fremantle Christian College. This photo is how I remember you - on your bike on an adventure, with your friends, smiling and laughing, through all the good and tough times (remember when we got so cold on that mountain biking trip and you were so cold you couldn't talk!) So sorry you are not with us - you are missed but will always be remembered! To your family, condolences, thoughts and prayers at this time. So sorry for your immense loss.

Alex, I had the pleasure of watching you grow from inquisitive baby to boy before you moved. Through my friendship with your mum Tiff, on your family holidays back to England we all spent some memorable time together, including the Doctor Who convention and a very long hot summers day at the Tower of London and lots of picnicking in parks. Although I wasn’t able to be there in person to say goodbye, it’s clear you were so very loved by your family, friends and had a go grab life sense of adventure, something to be admired. Sending love and condolences to Tiffany, Russell, Felicity and Olivia xx
